Frank Land OBE, the British information systems researcher, LEO pioneer and the UK’s first Professor of Information Systems, died on 16 May at the at the age of 97.

There is no-one on the planet who had a bad word to say about Frank. He was universally admired. loved and respected. But at 97 he had a good innings as they say and he has left a substantial legacy.
