Hally, Mike (2003) ‘Electronic Brains: stories from the dawn of the Computer age’, Granta Publications, London.
The book is based on 4 BBC radio programmes produced by Mike Hally. Despite its populist title, it is a very readable and informative account of some early computer ventures in the USA, UK, Soviet Union and Australia. Chapter 5 is an account of the LEO story. See Electronic Brains
